Impact of led lighting color on productive and behavioral characteristics of the broiler chickens

The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of color (white and blue-green) LED lighting on productive, carcass behavior traits Cobb broiler chickens. Total 200 one- day-old unsexed chicks were used, divided into two pens/groups (100 birds each with 25 replicate), at stocking density 8.7 bird/ square meters. First pen used for white second blue- green mix light. results showed that exposed blue-green light had significant higher (P≤0.01) BW, DBWG FC values whole experimental period compared those color. However, no FCR MR measurements average 1.44 0.50%, respectively. pre-slaughter live BW weights insignificant dressing percentage weekly highly differences among weeks aggressiveness immobility activities, while it being pecking activity. correlation value between five-week reared under only (0.42) all studied values. In conclusion, indicated broilers calmer light, which contributed in more better performance traits.
